The nacre powder is associated to essential oils with antibacterial and antifungal actions to fight against superinfections of the epidermis.
It is formulated with shea butter for a moisturizing and nourishing action on the cracks of the skin caused by mud fever.
Mud fever wound care
1. Clean the pastern with water and a disinfectant;
2. Do not remove existing scabs ;
3. Dry without scrubbing ;
4. Apply the cream on a sterile pledget and spread it on the pastern beginning under the fetlock all the way to the bulbs.
5. Let it rest like this or cover it up with a dressing to soften the scabs. If the horse is going in a sandy environment, cover up the pasterns.
6. Renew application daily
